Hello everyone,
I needed to dampen the vibrations of my Kobra X—partly to improve print quality, but primarily to allow two high-speed printers to share the same surface without their vibrations interfering with one another.
To achieve this, I designed a foot that is soft (for dampening) yet features a stable outer structure capable of properly supporting the printer's weight.
This provides several benefits:
* It gives the Kobra X a more robust, professional appearance.
* It compensates for any unevenness in the supporting surface—a common issue with the Kobra X, where the front and back may not sit perfectly level.
* It offers greater stability, thanks to a wider (yet low-profile) footprint.
* It reduces vibrations, resulting in cleaner prints.
