Description

A cute chibi skull planter inspired by Día de Muertos marigolds. Perfect for a tiny marigold sprig, succulent, air plant, or even as a small desk caddy for clips and pens.

Designed for FDM printers: single-piece model, flat base, gentle overhangs, and a clean rim with subtle marigold petal relief. Scales well from mini to desktop size and is easy to paint.

Key features:

- One-piece print, no supports

- Flat, stable bottom

- FDM-friendly angles (<45°)

- Smooth chibi style with large eye sockets and soft details

- Paint-ready surface

Printing tips:

- PLA recommended for ease and a matte look

- 0.2 mm layer height, 2-3 perimeters, 12–20% infill, 3–4 top/bottom layers

- Print upright on the flat base; add a 3–5 mm brim if your adhesion is weak

- No supports needed; ensure good cooling for the rim

Finishing and use:

- Light sanding and acrylic paints work great; dry-brush to pop details

- If using real plants/soil, consider a small drilled drainage hole or a plastic liner pot

- PETG is a good choice for damp environments
