This is a modular hexcrawl system for fantasy roleplaying games The concept is built around the idea that exploration should be fast to prepare, highly replayable, and visually intuitive. It has been built around the Game Master, who controls how the tiles are laid out and rules of the game.

Instead of relying on bases, every tile features a magnet compartment with enough room for it to auto align. It comprises of a single hexagon armature and a lid that fits inside it, and even the lids themselves have it. The reason being is that mobile hazards, the party, or even individual characters from the party will always be centered on the tile. I tried a gridfinity system, however it felt limited and users pointed out that the tiles are too big. Hopefully this system will be better suited.

There are multiple combinations that include biomes, landmarks, points of interest, hazards, creatures, and encounters that create your game into a dynamic living world. A simple grassland hex can become an ancient battlefield, a forgotten shrine, a monster-infested ruin, or a peaceflu campsite simply by changing a handful of modular elements. Due to the nature of this system, it will take some time to build up a library, but special care has been taken into designing it. Oh you will need magnets… a lot of magnets
The first iteration uses 6x1.5mm magnets, you can find sellers on Aliexpress that sell them 1000 for about 16 euros. If you have a suggestion or request, let me know in the comments for what size you would like to see.

Beyond the overworld, the same idea extends to individual encounters, every landmark can become the entrance to a self-contained modular scenario, allowing the Game Master to quickly assemble a cave, abandoned mine, ruined temple, wolf den, goblin camp, or magical shrine using themed terrain pieces, environmental features, monsters, and NPCs. Rather than preparing entire maps in advance, encounters can be built organically as the players discover them, making improvisation both fast and visually engaging. However this is still under development, and your ideas are welcome while the world terrain set gets completed.

The world itself is designed to remain dynamic, and moblie events such as storms, migrating monsters, roaming raiders, or magical phenomena continuously reshape the landscape and add dangers, which may force the party to change their route.

Geography also becomes a meaningful part of exploration. Natural bottlenecks, mountain passes, rivers, ravines, and other obstacles can force difficult decisions, requiring adventurers to confront dangerous guardians, search for alternate paths, or rely on magical solutions.
Any input is appreciated, and a separate re-mixable model will be uploaded and linked so you can create and share tiles for the system for the community.
