the 20 points for participation in a competition are what motivates certain people to reuse their models already used for the challenge, unrelated to the theme of the competitions in the competitions.
(Seems to have become a habit for some)
It is therefore up to MakerOnline to add a control that prevents this.
In addition, models used in the challenge were selected as winners, therefore unfortunately encouraging dual use.
No one is targeted but while navigating between the challenge and the competitions, I had the impression of always seeing the same models.
So I made a table (just with the top 20) from which we can conclude that:
- 70% of participants do not respect this rule (voluntarily or not)
- MM3D is in first position, GG
The impression of déjà vu would come mainly from the resemblance between models.
The site is new but being able to deselect a participation would be useful.
beside the point, can we like and upload our own models?

I mix the last screenshot with another one.
Here is the correct screenshot that shows the model I was talking about.

You are right. I identified several identical models in competition entries and challenge entries.
for exemple
https://www.makeronline.com/model/hueforge-zelda-tears-of-kingdom-logo-art/1703.html
appear in https://www.makeronline.com/en/challenge/all_entries.html and https://www.makeronline.com/contest/decor-creation-contest/83.html
Hello! We'd like to emphasize that your uploaded entries can only participate in either the contest or the challenge. If you choose to enter a contest with your submission, it cannot be entered into a challenge, and vice versa. If you wish to participate in a challenge, you'll need to submit a new entry. Thank you for your understanding!
I had the impression that when we had used a model in a competition it was no longer available in the list of our models available for "the challenge" and vice versa.
But I seemed to see identical models used in a competition and in "the challenge".
Is that what you want to emphasize? Are you addressing it to a specific person?
Good luck in the competitions and “the challenge”
and good continuation.
